ICT-AAC Komunikator 2: Facilitating Communication for Individuals with Complex Communication Needs
ICT-AAC Komunikator 2 is an Android application developed by ICT-AAC. It falls under the Social & Communication category and is available for free. This program aims to facilitate communication for individuals with complex communication needs.
The app provides a basic set of symbols that users can customize with their own photos or symbols. By tapping on a specific symbol, the associated audio recording is played, typically naming what is depicted in the picture (symbol). It is important to note that the new Komunikator (blue icon) is released as a separate application, which means that user symbols from the old Komunikator (orange icon) cannot be transferred to the new one. However, users of the old Komunikator can simultaneously use both applications on their device.
